Hello all,

I have recently moved over from Virgin Mobile to O2 due the VOLT team up they have done.

Since moving to O2 I have noticed that the option in Mobile Data to enable VoLTE is no longer there when I have the O2 SIM inserted. If I remove the O2 SIM and place my Virgin Mobile SIM into my iPhone 13 Pro the option instantly appears again.

With my Virgin Media SIM inserted.

Looking on the O2 Help section for my phone it suggests the VoLTE option should be there
https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices?page=device/apple/iphone-13-pro/topic/settings/how...

Is anyone able to offer any advice on this please?

I have contacted O2 but they dont seem to know whats going on either.

Thank you.

O2 need to enable it on your account and after that, you need to enable it in your MyO2.

@MI5 Thank you so much for the prompt reply.

When I spoke to O2 earlier they said all the settings were on, I even checked that they had enabled the iData Bolt addon as I have seen that mentioned places.

I have just been to the MyO2 page you mention and this is what is there:

You should be all set then but if they only turned it on today, you may have to wait 24 hours.

Also try rebooting your phone.

It has been over 24 hours since they said that 4G/WiFi calling was enabled, I have restarted the device and the option is most defiantly not there. I've just placed the Virgin SIM back in and the option shows instantly.

Could anyone else with an iPhone 13 see if the option is available to them with their O2 SIM please?

Yes it works fine on iP13.

It's not enabled or there is something else missing on your account.

@MI5 Been on the phone with O2 again today and they assure me that the options are all turned on.

Restarted the phone and still nothing, then did a factory reset of the iphone, still nothing.

I put my wifes o2 SIM in and its not there with that sim either.

If I put my Virgin Media sim in then it shows again, I am lost now haha.

Thanks for the help.

Try resetting your network connection now and ensure your apn is "idata.o2.co.uk"

Password is set to password in all the options but Apple must remove passwords from images.

The option is still not there tho in Mobile Data to enable VoLTE.

I can only guess it's taking longer than the usual 24 hours to update your account on the system, assuming customer services have done everything correctly.

It's obviously not a phone issue so must be related to your O2 account.

Give it another couple of days and keep rebooting to check it.
