Numbers not names

Hi since having my new iphone 6s plus when i receive a text message it simetimes displays the contacts mobile number and not their name even though they are in my contacts list. Any ideas on how to solve this please?

Check if you have duplicate entries in your contacts list.

Which often happens if you have contacts saved both to sim and phone

Hi, no i have checked for this and only have single contacts. Some i have deleted and put back in if they were saved as +44 from someones text message and whilst this has solved most of the problems i still seem to get the odd rogue one that comes through displayed as number only? Its starting to nag at me now. Iv never had this problem with any of my other iphones but they were standard ones and this has only happened since going up to the plus model?

Yes @Anonymous I have just had a look...On all networks apparently. I see many customers have sent a bug report to Apple...
