My care

Can anyone tell me what my care is? I've been sent an email asking for money but I've never signed up for it and don't know what it is? Is it a scam?

I've asked @Anonymous, the OP to copy and paste the email without any hyperlinks. Hopefully they will so we can see what this is all about. Sounds like a scam, if they're asking for money.

Both those links go back two years.

I know they go back 2 years. I was simply pointing out that My Care had been mentioned on the forum before...

There have been reports of phishing emails being sent.

CS are advising customer to forward the emails to phishing@o2.co.uk if you suspect anything.

Are these specifically from My Care @Anonymous?

@Cleoriff the mycare email address was used to confirm unlatching requests, tariff changes ect. As for money, billing emails come from "O2 billing" o2shop@o2.com.

I'd be interested to see exactly what the email is asking for. Definitely sounds like phishing to me.

It wasn't a criticism @Cleoriff. It was merely an observation.

If you hover your mouse over the email address in the email it will probably show a completely different address that it actually came from.

Whatever it is, people need to be aware. My care does not exist apart from homes for the elderly. Any email asking for money should be forwarded to phishing@o2.com and then deleted.
