Another question from the noob slight_smile

I work in a temp building (portacabin) and it seems to heavily reduce my network coverage. 4-5 bars (with 3G) when outside and 0-2 bars (GPRS if I'm lucky) intermittently inside! I can get signal by moving my phone around my desk and turning AP mode on/off but eventually it will cut out and say no service till the next time I notice. Usually texts would come through within mins of network reconnecting but recently if I've left my phone with no service for an hour or so the occasional text will take anything up to 12 hours to eventually come through!

Anyone got any ideas how/if I can force these texts to be pushed though? Shouldn't have to though -in my last job my phone had to be off all day on-site but soon as I put it back on all texts, voicemails etc would come through in seconds

Usually rebooting the phone will result in all texts coming through.

Hi.

Check your service status here http://status.o2.co.uk

As your saying network signal is poor at best and intermittent at worst.

Without signal your texts will probably back up and come through in batches as signal is regained.

Try cleaning your SIM card with a clean dry cloth too.
