I have an iphone 5 and I cannot get on to the internet.  It was working OK but now says "the mail server 'mail.btinternet.com' is not responding.  Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings"  How do I know what these settings should be - they weren't ones that I had anything to do with when the iphone was set up!  How can I fix this pls?

I also use yahoo mail with my iPhone 5 and occasionally get the pop up message asking me to confirm my login details.

It also happens on my MacBook Air.

I simply dismiss the message and all is ok.

When it first happened I searched this on Google. It seems yahoo mail and idevices don't like playing together.

Mail settings are in settings,mail contacts calendars.
