Iphone4 - how do you clear old data?

my husband has upgraded his phone and I have his old iPhone 4. I have completed a sim swap and the new sim is working in the iphone4. How do I clear all his old data, emails, contact lists etc from this phone please?

Don't forget you will need to erase his Apple ID from the phone & input your own Apple ID if you wish to use iTunes or the App Store
