Ios7 Alerts on a blurry screen?

Why do the alerts that come through on the new ios7 just sit on a blurred screen and not directly on top of your wallpaper sreen like they used too, or am I missing something in the set up? Thanks in advance. 😊

Where's the middle ground ??

Control = Safety.

Most people want safety.

People want to be able to download an App knowing it is not going to screw up their device.  With Android that safety net doesn't exist.

A lot of users don't know what it is showing them when it tells them which permissions the App is asking for, so they just allow it.  Then the rogue app has access to everything as the user has just allowed it unwillingly.

The whole point of Android is open source.
The whole point of Apple is sandboxed.
It's for each to choose their own preference and manage it accordingly.......

That's the sole reason why I jail-break.

I won't be dictated to on how my iPhone works.

Hope the OP does not mind their thread going a little off topic !

Yes, it did wander off a bit, but also provided a bit more insight, hopefully wink

Can't argue with that.

Being open has it's limits, being sandboxes has it's limits.

Both then also have their positives.

Android is becoming less and less open however isn't it... *runs* haha wink

Thanks for all the comments and help 😉. But I don't really see the point of picking a wallpaper and then every time you get an alert or text etc it just appears on a blurred screen and your wallpaper does not even feature? C'min Apple sort a fix for it!
