OK, I know I'm probably asking a question to which there is an obvious answer......
I've read the postings about how to increase the number of rings and it seems very easy.
BUT - first, I can't find a star symbol on my iphone 5c - it's not amongst the characters or the numbers .
Please can someone advise?
Also, where do I type the code to change the nimber of rings - does that go in the message box? If so, what number do I send the message to?
Sorry to be a bit dim.
Thanks for any help.

Just open the phone and use the ordinary dialling app. Just enter the code as though you were making a call. You'll find the star button on the keypad.

Brilliant Jonsie - thanks.
We were trying to send the code as a text.......
Now we are sorted.

Dial it into the keypad as if making a call.
