Incoming calls show as 'Unknown'

Since moving from Virgin to O2 my incoming calls from my contacts are showing as 'Unknown'.

 

The sim is still the original from Virgin.

 

Is there a fix for this problem please???

@O2Sarah- I have been migrated from Virgin Mobile and have the same issue with my Moto phone. Could you refresh my account settings too?

For my part, I requested new "Proper O2" SIM and this now works fine

If you came from Virgin Mobile into O2, then get an O2 SIM for your phone, and the problem will resolve itself (most seem to, unless you have certain OPPO or Moto phone models) @NS1234  - go to an O2 Shop tomorrow, taking photo ID with you if you can't wait for one to be sent out. Good luck!

I swapped from an o2 4g sim to a 5g o2 sim when my issue occurred. O2 customer services have tired all trouble shooting which has not worked

I have seen this workaround sometimes works, but not sure if the underlying issue is one O2 are still working on, @NS1234 -

Please disable 4G calling
Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network > Disable 4G calling

Worth a try?

That's a pity - worth a try, I suppose.  The next O2 Advisor on duty starts 8am Mon, and it is @O2Sarah- (with a dash at the end) - watch out for a Private Message from her after 8am Monday morning. Good luck, @NS1234
