IPhone 5 Battery Drained

Anyone have any experience of an IPhone battery draining and not being able to recharge?

 

Any tips?

Have you tried another lightening cord or plug.

Will it not charge from the wall plug and USB cord to your computer.

If the iPhone won't come on try to soft reset it by pressing the top button and home button until the apple logo appears and then let both go. Then try to charge again.

Can you try another cord and plug or borrow one.

If no joy then you may have to seek help from an apple Genius Bar.

Make an appointment first.

Check for lint / fluff etc buildup in the lightning port.

 

My mate thought his lead was broken tried a new one no luck then checked the connector on the iphone it was full of lint etc.

 

Solved his issue
