IOS 6 - Map App Turn by Turn Navigation...?

Does the new map app on IO6 give you turn by turn GPS navigation by car? 

Is it like the TomTom app?

I wonder if the new google map app will have the turn by turn navi?

What will happen to the tomtom apps now? they are very expensive but now most map apps are free...

It does give you turn by turn spoken direction.

I've used it a few times and it performs every bit as good as a standalone Tom Tom sat nav, or Garmin sat nav that I've used in the past.

The turn by turn data that the Apple Maps app uses is provided from Tom Tom.
