You would have to upgrade and if need be pay off your remaining plan you are on, and then pass credit and affordability checks with o2 , to be able to start a refresh contract with o2.
This can be done via the o2 shop online or via the Sales Team on 0808 002 0202
Or have a look direct at apple and their finance offerings and purchase sim free, and then you can stay on your current plans
