Been ringing 02 since 07:59 this morning obviously couldn't get thro straight away! My phone is due for upgrade today and yet 'upgrade' says ring the 0844 number as I'm guessing have to be on 02 refresh contract for 5s and have to pay to get out of my current contract....how on earth can I upgrade if I can't get thro and they say there's an hour queue every time or ring tomorrow....I'm not a new customer why is it so difficult?

Just been to an O2 store - they rang 202 to ask a question and were told there were 500 callers on hold waiting to be dealt with, that callers could be on hold for an hour and could also end up cut off because of the sheer volume of calls.

This is the first day that the new iPhones have gone on sale. There are thousands and thousands of people calling today. What would you expect?

Hi and welcome.

The iPhone launch will clog up the lines for a few days as said.

Perhaps wait until Monday or keep trying on 202.

Patience is a virtue.

Good luck.

I waited 40 minutes, got through then got cut off. Second time took about 50 minutes.

Try ording through the online guru chat. The wait is a lot shorter.

Live Chat are Ok for Low level general enquiries not connected to accounts.

They are non Uk outsourced callcentres.

My advice is to stick with 202 - o2 Uk Customer Services.
