When I got home checked the website and saw that I could get exactly what I had ordered at the shop but delivered on Tuesday 24th September!!
My question is, can I cancel my shop order, get a refund if my £169.99 and then place an upgrade order online? Anyone done this or thought of doing it?

Go back to the o2 shop and cancel asap.
o2 Customer Services Callcentres are swamped.
Then order one online as you wish.
Bear in mind delivery dates IMO will fluctuate !
