Group texts

For the last year n half I have been sending group texts, not very big texts but to around 15 - 20 peeps each text, I sent four lots of group texts each identical on the 12th June and was charged 33p plus VAT for two of those but not the other two or for any texts in the previous years, I pay monthly and have unlimited texts, no emojis were in the text either?

Sadly group texts are charged as MMS Have a look at this help thread

Not sure why you haven't been charged before unless you are under the limit...

If the total character count multiplied by the number of recipients goes over 480 characters you will be charged for sending an MMS message.....

Thanks for info, I am still puzzled as to why I was not charged for the next 6 group messages that (I have just counted) had over 480 characters, I'm glad but still puzzled, ps I have now changed my settings to no MMS and counting characters
