Why is the IPhone 15 pro max not eligible for the O2 open airtime discounts? Seems to be the only other device along with the iPhone 15 plus that isn’t eligible and it doesn’t make sense.

Supply is still limited.
O2 don't allow phones to be eligible until there is sufficient supply to meet demand.

Ah thanks for that response @MI5. Appreciate your help. Any sense on when they typically are able to procure sufficient supply following the release, barring any other abnormal constraints? I'm inclined to buy the 15 pro max now hoping that I'll be able to claim the O2 open discount within the next 15 days.

I doubt it will be until the new year tbh.

Historically, it's always been 6 months plus for iphones
This question has cropped up every year on here since at least the iphone 3
