Can you tell me why is my balance going down not using it free wifi in house

This has been a 'feature' of the iphone at least as far back as the 3GS. Maybe Apple haven't got the technology or the capability of android where you have the option to choose 'wifi sleep - never'. It's certainly not an option the networks have requested. This is a worldwide problem. Simple solution is to ditch iphones and go Android or Windows.
