My daughter got her upgrade just over a week ago and has 1gb of data allowance as her sister has, however her data has been totally used up in this time, she has closed all apps and only uses wifi? Help

We can't see what she's used mate, but if you look in the phones settings it should tell you what apps have used what data.

Also have a search on the forum for other instances of iPhones mysteriously using data.

Snap chat, Facebook and other social media apps, will preloaded images from the get go.
On a modern phone, 1gb can be used in relatively quick time.
The phone itself will show what is using data in settings , cellular / mobile networks
Then data usage

To add on from @viridis post if it's Facebook then maybe go into settings & turn off auto play videos as well
