If my data is turned off and I am connected to WiFi can I still send email, text messages and use wats app? on my iphone SE?

My husbands ipone SE will send and receive every thing even when data is turned off.

 

Can any one help - thanks

As long as you are connected to Wifi you can do any of those things @Jenny1 (although text messages don't need data or Wifi.)

When I am at home, mobile data is always off. My apps on the phone are set to update over Wifi only. Works out much cheaper.

Texts won't work over WiFi but iMessage will.

Everything else will work though.
