Received my iPhone 7+ over the weekend and the phone number supplied with it has now been swapped to my old number. However, the phone will not accept my old number in Settings and says the number cannot be saved. Talked to LC who say this is a known problem with iPhone 7 and they are working on it with Apple.
Anyone else have this problem or know of it?

Hi Nick,
this isn't a problem, you just need to know what to do!!!!
Turn off imessage, reboot phone, check number changed, may take a minute, then turn imessage back on

Cheers Dave - that worked and once you said that it twigged with me what to do! However, it only changed my number once iMessage was switched back on after reboot!
Thanks again and LC pah!

Aye Dave - useless they were, plus trying to get them to add my new contract to my old ID was painful until I relaised I could add it myself online.
The lass from Rotherham call centre though was ace on Friday night, with my number swap etc.so thumbs up for her!
