I really hope someone can help as I have run out of ideas!
My mum is a PAYG customer on the go go go plan. She has swopped from an iphone 3GS to an iphone 4S and therefore we also had to do a sim swop which seemed to go as planned.
She can go on the internet, make and receive calls and receive texts but cannot send a text.
We have put more money on the phone, made sure all the settings are correct, reset it, turned it on and off numerous times and even tried the sim in another phone but it still wouldnt send a text.
Is there anything else I can try or do we need to contact O2?
Am really pulling my hair out on this one!!

Its more than likely you hsve been supplied the wrong sim as the message centre number is prestored on the sim. The O2 store will supply you with the correct type.

You can but it will revert back to the default on the sim.
