Can't log on to wifi

Can somebody please help with this, Got my Iphone 5 today. Tried to log onto wifi and just keep getting the message "unable to join network" the password is being entered correctly as my girlfriends ebook connects. When I click the blue arrow there are no settings in the ip adress etc either. Also no 3g signal Please help.

It's a strange one. You've rebooted the phone and the router, I can only suggest a full restore in itunes. Back it up first and then restore as a new phone. Try logging onto your wifi then.

 

You can always then restore the phone from your last backup.

Go into Settings/General, scroll right to the bottom and touch Reset. Choose Reset Network Settings.

Think I've got a dud, tried everything suggested. Including backup/restore, and no joy. Don't know what to do now. slight_frown

Try logging on to wifi at the O2 store. That will show if the phone is faulty. What router are you using at home?
