Can I get my phone repaired during lockdown?

Hello,

I went to Apple to get the “ghost touch” issue fixed as they accepted this is their fault and will fix it for free for the iPhone X. However they told me that the Face ID failed and they won’t do the initial repair without the Face ID being fixed.

I contacted O2 to arrange a repair and they sent me the repair bag to send my phone to them. Unfortunately lockdown happened and as a precaution I contacted them and was advised to not send my phone. However I saw on the O2 website that repairs & deliveries are going ahead as normal so I’m not sure what to do. Has anyone had a repair done during lockdown and would you advise to just send my phone off in the repair bag I have?

Thanks!

If you want your phone repaired you have to contact O2 as per this guide under Essential Queries

https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Welcome-News/Help-amp-Support-from-O2-during-COVID-19/td-p/1327094

You can return it if the device develops a fault within the first 28 days.

Thankyou! I did message O2 on twitter before and got an automatic response with links to the forum, FAQ etc. I messaged them again saying that it's an essential query so I'll see if anyone responds.
