I recently sold my old iPhone 5S (removed from my icloud). Unfortunately, enroute to the buyer, the parcel has gone missing. I've just blacklisted it as O2 still had its IMEI number.

Please can anyone tell me:

Is it instantly unusable ?

If recovered can O2 re-activate again?

Is it true that thifs can reset IMEI numbers ?

Many Thanks

Unfortunately stolen iphones are big business overseas, much more than Samsung or any other brand. Many stolen iphones, we know they are useless here in the UK, are stolen specifically for the overseas markets where to own one would be unthinkable via legal sources. There again you could say that for top end motors. Tis the world we have created and now have to live in. I stopped looking at humanity through rose coloured spectacles around 4 years ago. When you mix with these type of people it really opens your eyes!

I actually googled my reply before I answered earlier....there are no end of sites which offer this service (obviously suspicious ones) There is a video showing how to unblock an imei blacklisted phone. (yes I do mean unblock not unlock) I wont, for obvious reasons. post it here...
