Solved: Anyone else noticed 4G signal in Newcastle upon Ty...

Today I noticed the 4G logo on my phone a couple of times. Ran Speedtest and was getting 20mb download.

It only pops up here and there, then reverts to 3G. I presume they're testing the signal or something.

Anyone else seen this?

Supposedly due by the end of October so they will be in live testing phase....

I'm getting the same 20Mps down here in Coventry. If it's stable at that speed I will be well pleased

I've seen it a couple of times today, and not for all that long, a few minutes at a time.

I'm really looking forward to it, since my 3G speeds seem to have tanked since swapping to the 4G sim.

I only get 2-3mbps on 3G now, used to be 6-7.

We lost 3G completely for a few days before 4G was turned on so I guess it's something to do with the work to get 4G online. They are back up to around 8mps now though....
