4G Coverage

Anonymous
Not applicable

Does anyone know when 4G will be available in south cheshire please.

I have just taken on an O2 contract with an iphone 5S for 24 months.

At the moment there does not seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

think maybe I should have stopped with 3G

If you register for updates then you will get an email from O2 telling you when 4G will be in your area http://www.o2.co.uk/4g

Did you take out a 4G contract? If so, why were you sold a 4G contract in an area where it isn't available yet?

Good point Bambino!!

If you were sold a 4G contract but 4G isn't in your area yet then you need to change your tariff as it is pointless paying for something that you may not be able to use for several months.

@bambino o2 will let anybody take a 4g contract regardless of your location.

We are not in a 3g area yet we took out a 4g contract so when we travel on business the areas we go to are 4g so we get the benifit of speed then but in 3g areas also benifit from the 8gb 4g data package obviously in a 2g area would never use much data.

Also the 3gb of extra data is only available until 28th feb so that may sway some to have 8gb instead of 5gb if they go 4g after 28th feb

But all personal choice

The only advantage might be the extra allowance given for 4G at the moment, which they could use their 3G for, but they'd have to decide if that's worth the cost.

@bambino yes lol

But I think that the refresh tariff 3g is £22 for 2gb and 4g tariff is £27 for 8Gb (5gb after 28th feb) the extra 6gb for £5 is a good offer
