I don't believe you can run iPhone apps on an Android device. Different OS. Different programming language.

That's correct, you can't.
The apps for the two operating systems are made with different coding language, so there's no way of transferring, or running iPhone apps on an Android device.
That said, your best bet it to make a list of all the apps you have on your iPhone, and then search on play.google.com for the same apps, as many developers make the same apps for both.
If you're struggling to find specific ones, then there are always alternatives that will do the same job too.
