s6 edge wont connect with fitbit

Hi received my free fitbit charge and having issues pairing it with the s6 edge tried for an hour lol even hard reset it a number of times

Have you downloaded the fitbit app?
You must use the app not the normal bluetooth connection.

and surprisingly a compatibility list here which does not include the S6 or Edge http://www.fitbit.com/uk/devices

Does that mean it wont ever be compatible @MI5? Or will Fitbit need to update?
