Probably not best idea saying "get a grip" whilst ranting about having to wait a short while for an incremental software update.

I've heard from reliable sources that there is nothing to shout about

The integration of taskbar interaction is a plus, nicer animations, but most other stuff was on Samsung devices anyway as part of their S-view software.

Its down to Samsung, who decide which CSC (the code that specifies your handset, operator and country), if its an o2 CSC, then its on its way, when Samsung push the button, if it was bought from CPW or any other dealer and its a sim free CSC XEU then good luck as Samsung usually do these last. 

If your eager to find out, then google sammobile, they usually know when OS Updates are coming out..

It could also be a BTU sim free CSC but we've covered all this on the main thread that the OP has also posted on, repeatedly asking the same question.

Even then, once your CSC is due, the updates are pushed in batches of serial numbers do it won't necessarily arrive immediately even then.

How is everyone finding it? I udated my Nexus 5X to 7.1.2 beta yesterday, battery life appears better and and as mentioned google search integration is nicer...

I'm waiting to receive the official update but I have a ported ROM on my old S3 and it's oh so smooth.
