Hi I have a Sony xperia s running android 4.1.2 and when I connect my phone to laptop only 5 music files are showing in the internal storage file on my laptop, even though there is over 100 files showing on my phone. Does any1 know why this is happening?? Trying to save all music to a usb quick.

Are all the files in the same format?
Are you sure they are all in the same location on the phone storage?
Some might be in "Music", some in "Downloads" etc....

Hi thanks for your reply, they are all mp3 format and stored in the Music folder in the phone storage. I've tried looking through all the other folders but can't seem to figure out what's happened.

Are you using a memory card by any chance?

Phone doesn't have a memory card, it's 32gb internal storage. Tried rebooting the phone and trying it on another pc but still same problem.
