Nearly two weeks and still no update? How long is this going to take?

OK, so I've been running Jelly Bean on my One S for perhaps 2 weeks now.

I have to say I'm very impressed. Google Now is a really impressive addition to Android, definitely gives me something to make my iFriends feel jealous. Everything seems to be working faster as well. A few occasional but repetitive problems I had with my phone with ICS now seem to have been cleared up altogether (no more randomly losing the ability to connect to the mobile web, far fewer app crashes or lag issues when multitasking.

Like some other people on here, though, I'm finding that battery life has really crashed since the update. I've now taken to carrying a spare charger around with me all day. If it's unplugged at 8am it's usually knocking on empty by 6pm, though I suppose that's arguably with me using it heavily (getting map directions, hopping between wifi networks, playing with Google Now, listening to Spotify, reading email.)

What's frustrating is that battery performance doesn't seem to improve using the power-saving mode in the notifications bar. With the screen on minimal brightness, no web connection on standby... I'm still lucky to get 10 hours.

Anyone got any tips?

Other than rooting it and removing all bloatware and unwanted apps...

No update here either. As I posted before I've been in touch with HTC who just said you'll get it when you get it. Not overly helpful I grant you, but there's nothing to be done about it.

I just recently got the jelly bean update, so pleased with the interface slight_smile

I have noticed that the apps and the browser are opening quicker

As per the comments on this thread my battery seems to be working fine, pretty much like I had with ICS.

Hey guys, have you noticed that Maps Navigation crashes after a few minutes of use after the update?

A month, the still no update. Is this a problem with my phone or has it still not been released to everyone?

Anyone also have issues with Maps using a lot of resources and battery about 30-40% according to GSAM Battery?

I'm not sure if that is a Jelly Bean issue or a Maps issue as uninstalling updates fixes the battery issue for the moment...

Anyone else had this issue?
