galaxy s3 update

just wondered if anybody knows when the update is coming for galaxy s3 it says its been launched on numerous sites but yet nothing

               well its been ok so far. but for how long i  don't kown.

Samsung have pulled it whilst the test an update.....

Most people are rolling back to 4.12 in the meantime....

I think its been put on hold as most unbranded users are complaining of poor battery life. My mate has one and it lost 53% of battery by sitting idle not being touched.
Yes I know it depends on what he has installed etc., but he did stop all non-essential apps, and it was still doing the same

He was lucky he got the phone to stay turned on long enough to use that much battery in one go......

I let the battery run down to zilch and switch off. Charged it up overnight and at least the phone is usable now though very slow to respond after sleeping for a while.
