false 'text message failed to send' message when sending texts

Hi. When i send text messages I am sometimes getting a 'sending failed' message but the message has actually gone through just fine. Can anyone explain whats happening and how to sort it out? Im on a android samsung galaxy edge. Thanks

I also have an iPhone 12 which has been doing this for the last 2 weeks. Did you get anywhere?
