Hi all. Just a quick question. Does anybody know which charger comes with the z5? I'm waiting for the premium and wondering to buy the uhc10 quick charger separately. Any answers appreciated

You could if you wish, they will probably supply you a USB charging cable in the box

It's a question for o2 to answer as they have a habit of removing some items from the boxes.

Every xperia Z I've had from O2 had a charger...
The Tablet Z4 came WITH UHC-10 in the box.
I would hold off buying one until you get the handset.

Given its a "premium" I would hope that Sony will include the quick charger, but I am not holding my breath. I'm keeping a keen eye on this device too.

I would hold off either way until Sony / O2 confirm what is in the box. Latest update on release is the 2nd week of November (from Sony, not O2)

My Z3+ through o2 didn't come with a charger just the cable a couple of other connecting cables and some cheap headphones/buds.

Sony direct will be selling the Z5 with the newer more compact UHC20 quick charger and premium headphones.

I suggest you call o2 and ask them.

I bought the UHC10 quick charger from Sony and use that with both my phone and Z4 tablet (which did come with the basic Sony charger via o2. The EP880). It would take an age to charge them otherwise.

I just wish they all came with chargers...Too much at risk when folk opt for cheap second rate chargers. Damn immoral in my honest opinion..

My Z4 tablet came with the basic Sony EP880 charger as supplied by Sony. It looks similar to the UHC10.

It also came without a screen protector unlike the Z3+ even though it stated on the literature in the box that it did. Swings and roundabouts.
