I recently dropped my Sony Xperia S in the toilet. I dried it straight away and put it in a tub of rice in the airing cupboard overnight, and it works fine again. The only thing that is wrong with it is that the speaker doesn't work, so I have no ringtone, message tone, etc. I have no trouble with calls, just tones. Anyone got any idea if this can be fixed and if so, how much it's likely to cost and how I go about it?

The answer is in what you said above, if people are going to be there a while - it's something in place of a book/newspaper - as you can get those on your phone as well as games/social networking etc lol

Much less expensive dropping paper or book though!:smileywink:

It's the thought of what's floating about in the air in particle form and the transference of whatever to the phone.

Just pee sitting down when you're taking your phone into the toilet, much less of an area to aim for if you drop it
Only works if you have a narrow thigh gap!
