My phone is somewhat slow ... it is about 10 months old ... could it be the battery needs replacing? ... or ... do I have too much 'stuff' on the phone so it's not working at optimum level? ... or ... any other answer?
Thank you

Hi @Anonymous
You need to get rid of apps you no longer use.
FB is a battery drain so make sure it's not running in the background.

Thank you very much @Cleoriff
Facebook is probably running in the background as you say ... I am a member of a lot of groups on FB ... & ... don't need to sign in
I always charge my phone in an evening up to 100%
I have no plans for tomorrow so I intend to do as you suggest in your post, thank you again

No problem @Anonymous
There are a lot of things you can do before buying a new battery for any phone.

Force stop / uninstall the app.
The Web versions are not ideal, but can point out if it is indeed the app causing battery drain / sluggishness.
Low end phones sometimes just need a reset.
