Will there ever been an Itunes (or similar) for Android?

Topic.

Don't get me wrong I enjoy downloading tracks from Amazon MP3 on my Galaxy S2, but Itunes was cheaper back when I had an Iphone 3G, cheaper for songs and had better games.

I know but about Kies, but I've tried and it's crap IMO.

Hi,

I have always used iTunes, all my music is in iTunes (approx 20000 songs). I found a app called DoubleTwist

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.doubleTwist.androidPlayer&feature=nav_result#?t=W2...

Which is a music app for Android, which I personnally think is fantastic, you can then download this from DoubleTwist website

http://www.doubletwist.com/desktop/

Which is basically a front end for itunes however allows you to sync itunes with your phone, app & front end are free, however some features you do have to pay for.

Enjoy

Google Play requires a credit card to buy most of the apps, which I don't have, it also does not sell songs.

Play Music has the same idea.

It's available on the Play Store.

As in the link above where you can buy individual songs, albums or even compilations based on your own music tastes (if you use Google music cloud), also, a debit card works fine - No need for a credit card....
