WhatsApp notification delayed

Hi All

For some strange reason my WhatsApp messages are delayed. Sometimes I won't get the messages for up to an hour after it's been sent to my phone. 

Checked the WhatsApp website. All set up as it should yet still delayed messages.. 

Can anyone help please? 

I've got Z3 compact BTW.

How about turning the phone off and on to reset it.

Is their anything in their FAQs or troubleshooting help ?

If I remember CutieKitty was having a similar problem. I understood they were meant to be updating the app @Anonymous

Have you got power save enabled?

If that doesn't work try re registering your phone number. That worked for me

As a matter of fact yes Rich, save mode is enabled.

Untick que background data

Basically your phone is set to only send / recieve data every few hours from background apps.

Powersave disables background data unless screen is unlocked so the phone effectively goes into deep sleep except for set intervals when it turns on data to check for notifications.....
