What Version of Android is this?

Anonymous
Not applicable

According to Settings/More/About device my S4 has Android Version 4.4.2 but it does not give that a name such as Kit Kat or Ice Cream Sandwich or whatever other weird names are current.  Can anyone tell me if this version has a name?   I have hooked the phone up to my PC which has Samsung Kies running and that program indicates that my phone has the latest "firmware version".  Does "firmware" in this context mean the same thing as Android/

Silly questions I know but it would be a sad world if everyone were clever.   :O))

Also, tapping build number 3 times will enable developer options if you so wish. Mind you there's nothing in there that I have experimented with!
