How long is the warranty on a new phone, purchased from O2 in February? If its a reasonable amount of time, then should insurance be purchased initially for loss/theft of phone only? This may seem a simple thing to ask, but its amazing how advice varies on this topic (not from this forum I might add!)

I am with barclays and they offer a 'current account plus' option which for £6.50 a month gives you mobile phone, gadget (i.e. laptop) and card insurance - there's an excess on the phone insurance (£25 - or £50 if you have a ?Phone ) - worth checking what your bank can offer
