Upgrading to a sim only tariff?

I want to upgrade to a new tariff while keeping my android phone. Is this something that can be done over the phone or do I need to order a new sim card online?

It can all be done by calling CS on 202.
No need to change your sim.

You would need a micro sim. If you need a new sim, pop into your local O2 store, ask them for a micro sim,

they will then do a sim swap for you instore or you can do the swap online. Be aware though that the swap can take anything from a few minutes to 24 hours to complete.

Keep turning your phone on & off until you get signal

Also if it's a sim only contract you will need to have the iPhone data settings change to idata. Cs can do this for or ask instore when you get the sim

Thank you.

So it doesn't switch over automatically?

Will my Mum receive a new sim via post?

It's not very clear what will happen after you upgrade.

Does she have an iPhone already?

you have to ask instore for a new sim or you could try this
