I want to upgrade to a new tariff while keeping my android phone. Is this something that can be done over the phone or do I need to order a new sim card online?

She has an iphone and I think she's received a new sim in the post.
I don't live with them so it's a bit tricky ascertaining what's happened!
Hence trying to speak to them over chat.

Thanks
The new sim that has been sent will be blank, so you will need to do a sim swap (if you need to use the new sim due to a size difference).
It needs to be instigated from the old sim card and will take a few hours to complete usually.
Once the old sim turns off just insert the new sim into the new phone and reboot it every half an hour until it comes online.
