I've requested an unlock code to use my device with a different network SIM, was sent a 16 digit code which I entered (only twice to check if I mistyped something initially) but was told it was the incorrect code, can anyone help?

I already looked through the guide but unfortunately, nothing seems to be of use. I used the MyO2 app to get the code initially so I tried doing it again but all it said is that an unlocking request has already gone through so I couldn't do another.
