I've requested to unlock a Samsung s8 plus. It's all paid off and I'm selling it due to upgrade. I've requested an unlock with o2 and it says it takes a few days. The lady wants to pick it up tomorrow but do I need to keep it with my payg sim in it until its unlocked?

Thank you

@Juju79 No, there's no need to keep your sim in it.

If they want to pick it up tomorrow, let them, then forward them the code when you get it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Juju79  Do you have the unlock code? If so, give it to the buyer. When they put in a different network sim it will ask for the code and it's done. See this: https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SIM-card/ba-p/1...

There's no point in giving it to the buyer unless they have the unlock code, or an O2 sim.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
