Sony xperia miro and messaging

Recently my sony xperia miro has been really late sending and recieving messages,my signal has been playing up aswell but even if it is on full signal it will take a good 5 mins to send a message.I'm also recieving people's messages over a hour late!Can someone help please.

Try what jonsie said above.

 

Also, when you send a message try putting *0# at the start of the body of the message and this should notify you when it is sent. If this keeps taking long then it seems that you may be having:

 

-Network trouble : you can check this at status.o2.co.uk

-Sim Fault : Pop into an O2 store for a new one

-Phone Fault: Give Customer Services a call to discuss your options.

I can't get the back off my phone lol.It is a old sim card,had it for well over 4 years

I tried the status.o2.co.uk and it says the network is working fine.so i will keep a eye on it

It normally says what time my text is sent,but it tried *0# anyway and it told me when it was sent.If it carries on,it will be the sim
