Hiya

 

I've only had my Sony Xperia J 24 hours, i've just noticed when its on a black screen it has these 2 tiny white dots, are these dead pixels? if so what can i do about them?

There was a post in the Sony forums just a couple of days ago regarding "white dots" on a new Xperia (in this case, a U model) - the Sony rep on the forum wrote...

 

"This is certainly a hardware issue in which case I would have to advise that you return it for assessment by an authorised repair agent." - http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/56181

 

You may be as well off just asking for a replacement from the retailer - precisely where you'll stand legally if they refuse depends on various factors so give it a try and you can always look up your options or get advice from the CAB if necessary.

Really? whats the difference? sorry i dont mean to sound rude so i am sorry if it comes across that way i just dont understand the difference between android devices and android section, are they not the same?
