Hey there folks.
My o2 S5 updated to 5.0 lolipop OTA a couple days ago. No stability issues and running well.
However, one of the features I was greatly anticipating was the smart lock feature. Having the ability to have lock screen disabled in trusted areas would have been great.
But (there's always a but) I'm afraid I can't find it. It simply isn't there in the security menu in settings. No smart lock sub menu is listed. Nothing, nada, nill and zilch.
Any ideas? Has it been left out for some reason? Googling extensively brings up nothing apart from many articles on how to enable and use it (which ive followed).
Specs,
Android version 5.0
Baseband version - G900FXXU1BNL9
Kernel version - 3.4.0-3624618 dpi@SWDD5623#1 Thu Dec 18 17:35:48 KST 2014
Build number - LRX21T.G900FXXU1BNL9
Security software version - MDF v1.1 Release 4
VPN v1.4 Release 3
Knox version 2.3
Thanks in advance for any info/suggestions.

You need a security function enabled before it will work http://www.solvemix.com/index.php/android-smartphones/259-android-lollipop-how-to-activate-smart-loc...

Hi there, thanks for the reply.
Yes Sir, that articles is one of the many I've read whilst searching for answers. Ive tried with pin, swipe, password and the fingerprint scanner. Still not there in the security menu in settings.
Strange for sure.

Thanks again.
I did a hard reset after the update (always do, less change of conflicts by exerience of previous updates over the years.)
Here's some screen shots of my security menu is settings (as I scroll down )
