Im looking to take out a plan for a new samsung watch over a 24 month contract, but when i get to the checkout, it wants me to pay the remaining device plan on my phone before i can purchase it, is there a way around this?

Sounds like it's trying to process it as an upgrade.

You need to choose it as an additional contract.

You need to call O2 or pop in your local store if you can't do it online.
