hey everyone i got a s3 for xmas it was locked on tmobile so i got it unlocked so i can use my pay monthly 02 sim but I've done everything to get jelly bean update but i csnt get it not even thru kies why?

Android/Build version.

Should be something like 4.1.1 or 4.0.3/4.04.

Build version should reflect whether you have a carrier ROM or a multi-csc sim free one.

What message do you get when you go into software update/check for updates?

wen I go into about device theres no software update there but wen I try it thru kies it says I've got latest firmware

I would uninstall Kies completely and reinstall from http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/JSP disabling your firewall and antivirus. Try connecting and updating before enabling firewall and antivirus again. Make sure you have no other programmes open and nothing else connected to your PC.
