Hey Guys,
Good news! The wait time is almost over for Samsung Galaxy SIII users. From tomorrow, 19th October '12, you'll be be able to upgrade to the much awaited 4.1 Jelly Bean update over Wi-Fi or via Kies.
If you have activated the 'auto-update' feature from out of box, you will be prompted to download the 4.1 Jelly Bean update.

Your phone is an unbranded one, you will get an official update from Samsung later on this week. You could always flash it after downloading from Sammobile

My S3 says it's available for update. But my battery is really low. Shall I go ahead with the update or wait til it charges?? I'm so tempted XD

Yeah it says same for me on my phone. But on Kies it lets you download straight away.

Well, When I pull it off charge it gives me a warning that my battery needs charging. I should have done this overnight. 😕
Anyway, does anyone know what the actual updates are, like a list of things that have been changed?

Uninstalling Kies and all related DATA and then reinstalling has worked.. update in progress
